Ingredients
  • 1 package margarine or butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tea glass vegetable oil
  • 1 water glass powdered sugar
  • 1 glass cornstarch
  • 1 package vanilla
  • 1 package baking powder
  • Flour as needed
  • Optional:
  • Cinnamon, tahini, sesame seeds, cocoa, fruit pieces, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, dark chocolate, shredded coconut, cake decorations
Preparation
  1. First, place the margarine or butter—at room temperature—into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the powdered sugar, egg, and vegetable oil, then begin mixing.
  3. Next, add the cornstarch, vanilla, and baking powder.
  4. Slowly and carefully add the flour, and begin kneading.
  5. Once the dough reaches a soft consistency that doesn’t stick to your hands, divide it into 8 equal pieces.
  6. This part is entirely up to you—you can add whatever you like to the dough.
  7. I made one portion with cinnamon, one with tahini and sesame seeds, one with orange zest, dried fruit pieces, and chocolate chips, and one with crushed walnuts, cinnamon, and chocolate chips (Starbucks-style cookie), one with cocoa and chocolate chips, and one plain cocoa cookie—I made a hole in the center of that one and rolled the edges in sugar(sparkly cookies) I made one batch plain and coated part of it with melted chocolate, then decorated the top with shredded coconut and cake sprinkles.
  8. I prepared the cookies this way and baked them in a preheated 180-degree oven for 20–25 minutes. You can even add even more varieties. To those who’ll be making them—until we meet again in another recipe. Goodbye.
