Ingredients
- 3 pieces egg yolk
- 3 pieces egg white
- 1 tea glass powdered sugar
- 1 packet vanilla
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 packet margarine
- 2 tablespoons wheat starch
- 1 tea glass sour cherry jam
- 10 pieces marshmallow
Preparation
- First, 3 egg yolk is whisked with one tea glass powdered sugar using a mixer until it becomes frothy.
- Then, by adding margarine that has softened while waiting at room temperature, the whisking process continues.
- After 3 cups flour, vanilla and baking powder are added to the mixture, the thickened dough is thoroughly kneaded by hand.
- The obtained dough is divided into 3 equal parts. By adding 2 tablespoons cocoa to one of the pieces, a cocoa dough is obtained.
- One of the cocoa pieces and one of the plain pieces are then grated and placed in the refrigerator to be used.
- The remaining plain dough is spread out well by hand and placed on the bottom of a greased springform cake pan, and 1 tea glass sour cherry jam is spread over it to cover it completely.
- The cocoa and plain doughs, which have reached a consistency that can be easily grated, are taken out of the refrigerator and grated separately using a grater (the large-holed side of the grater shall be used).
- Cocoa dough pieces are spread over the jam-spread base, and marshmallows are placed on top at equal intervals.
- 3 Egg white, 1 pinch salt is added and whisked until it becomes like snow. To the whisked egg whites that have reached a snow consistency, the entirety of 1 water cup is added and the whisking process is continued until it is finished; powdered sugar is added little by little.
- After 2 tablespoons of starch are added to the mixture, the mixture, which is whisked until foamy; is poured over all the ingredients placed inside the cake mold and the grated cocoa dough and marshmallows. Finally, the grated plain dough is spread on top.
- After the oven is heated to 180 degrees 10 minutes, the mold is placed in the oven and heat is brought to 150 degrees and 40 minutes is cooked. Bon appétit, enjoy your meal.
