Banana and Cookie Pudding
A dessert recipe that’s elegant, practical, and delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 package of oatmeal cookies
- 4 cups of milk
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 8 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 1 packet of vanilla
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 large banana
Preparation
- For banana cookie pudding: In a medium-sized, deep saucepan, combine 4 glasses of milk, 2 tablespoons of flour, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, and 8 tablespoons of granulated sugar.
- Then add 4 tablespoons of cocoa to the mixture and stir well with a whisk.
- Next, place the saucepan on the stove. Cook the pudding, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil. Once the pudding is cooked, add 1 packet of vanilla and 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Stir well until the butter melts. Let the prepared pudding cool to room temperature. Once cooled, beat it briefly with a mixer to achieve a smooth consistency.
- Meanwhile, process 1 package of oatmeal cookies or baby biscuits in a food processor. Cut one large banana into rings and small cubes.
- In the cups you’ll use for the dessert, start by adding a layer of the processed cookies. Arrange the banana rings along the sides of the cups.
- Spread a layer of pudding over the cookies. Add the diced banana on top of the pudding.
- Fill the cups in layers with more cookies, pudding, and banana.
- Then, let the banana-cookie pudding chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours to set.
- Remove the banana-and-cookie pudding from the refrigerator and serve it garnished with a banana slice, walnuts, or pistachios.
