Ingredients
Half a packet of fresh yeast (20 g)
3.5 cups of flour
500 ml of lukewarm water
1 tablespoon of sugar
2.5 cups of water
White chocolate sauce
Chocolate sauce
Preparation
First, we bring the syrup to a boil and let it cool.
We bring the sauces to a boil.
Next, we prepare the dough for the lokma; it should be soft and sticky. Do not knead it by hand—mix it with a spatula instead.
First, add the yeast and sugar to the water and let them dissolve, then add the flour and mix.
If you follow the measurements exactly, you’ll get crispy lokma.
Then, using a spoon, shape the dough into round balls and fry them. (If you don’t use a spoon, you can fill a plastic bag with the dough, poke a small hole in it, and use scissors to cut out the balls.)
Drop the fried dough balls into the cold syrup, give them a stir or two, then transfer them to a plate.
Using a piping bag, fill the fried bites with our fillings.
Place the bites in a bowl, drizzle the remaining filling over them, and decorate as desired.
