An exquisite cake recipe that is quite easy to make, as soft as cotton, where you will experience both cocoa and plain cake flavors together.
Ingredients
- 3 pieces egg (At room temperature)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 2,5 cups flour
Preparation
- For making marbled cake; crack 3 pieces eggs into a deep bowl. Add 1 cup powdered sugar on top.
- Beat the sugar and eggs with a mixer until they foam 3-4 minutes. The cup measurement I used in the recipe is 200 ml.
- Then pour 1 cup milk and 1 cup liquid oil into the bowl, and mix well with a mixer.
- Then, sift 1 packet baking powder, 1 packet vanilla and 2 and a half cups flour over the ingredients.
- Mix all the ingredients well with a mixer.
- On the other hand, grease the bottom and sides of the cake mold you will use with butter. Then, pour half of the cake batter into the mold.
- Add 3 tablespoons cocoa on top of the dough remaining in the bowl.
- Ensure it mixes with a mixer.
- Pour the cocoa cake batter by drizzling it over the plain cake batter. Gently shake the mold from side to side so that the two batters mix slightly and create a marbled effect.
- Put the cake you prepared into the preheated 170 degrees oven. Bake in a controlled manner for approximately 40-45 minutes.
- You can test whether the cake is cooked or not by inserting a toothpick. If it comes out clean, it means it is cooked.
- After the marble cake is baked, take it out of the oven and let it cool. Then, turn the mold upside down and place it on a serving plate. Afterwards, you can serve it by slicing it.
