Delicious Cherry-Flavored Custard? This recipe and...
Ingredients
10 glasses of milk
6 tablespoons of cornstarch (heaping)
6 tablespoons of flour (heaping)
1 teaspoon of cherry extract
2 packets of vanilla
2 tablespoons of margarine
Less than the tip of a teaspoon of red powdered food coloring
1 or 2 cups kadayif (pre-cut and toasted)
Ready-made dark chocolate sauce
Preparation
First, pour 6 glasses of milk into a saucepan, add 3 tablespoons of cornstarch and 3 tablespoons of flour, and place it on the stove. Continue stirring until it reaches a pudding-like consistency.
Then remove from the heat, add 1 tablespoon of margarine and 1 packet of vanilla, and stir. Sprinkle a little kadayif into a square baking dish, then pour the prepared custard into the dish and spread it evenly.
Place the remaining 5 cups of milk, cornstarch, and flour in a saucepan and place it on the stove. Continue stirring until it reaches a pudding-like consistency. Once it’s ready, remove it from the heat, add the margarine and vanilla, and stir.
Next, take a ladleful of the custard we made, pour it into another saucepan, and add the powdered food coloring. Whisk it in, then add 1 teaspoon of cherry extract and mix well. Place it on the stove and bring to a brief boil, then remove from the heat.
Spread the cherry-flavored custard you prepared over the white custard in the baking dish and smooth it out. Sprinkle a little kadayif on top, then slowly pour the remaining white custard from the pot over it and spread it evenly.
Spread the ready-made dark chocolate sauce evenly over the top, then let it set in the refrigerator overnight.
Then you can decorate it however you like and serve it. :)
