Bride's Dessert

A delicious milk pudding on top of a soft cake. Light, very light. A recipe where one slice will never be enough, unfortunately breaking the diet again.

Ingredients
  • 3 pieces egg
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 packet baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla
  • 1,5 cups milk
  • 2,5 tablespoons starch
  • 1 packet whipped cream powder
  • 1 cup coconut
Preparation
  1. For the cake of the bride's dessert; crack 3 pieces eggs into a deep bowl. Add half a cup plus 1 fingers of granulated sugar on top.
  2. Whisk 3-4 minutes until frothy.
  3. Then, sift in half a cup plus 1 fingers of flour, half packet baking powder and 1 packet vanilla.
  4. Then mix all the cake batter again with a mixer. If the mixture is too liquid, you can add a small amount of flour.
  5. Pour the cake mixture you have prepared into a large square borcam.
  6. Bake in a preheated 170 degrees oven. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes.
  7. You can check whether your cake is baked or not with the help of a toothpick. If it comes out clean when you insert it into the cake, it means it is baked.
  8. After the bride dessert cake is baked, take it out of the oven and let it cool completely. Once the cake has cooled, make holes in it with a toothpick. Pour the milk at room temperature 1 and a half cups little by little so that it reaches everywhere. Let it rest like this for 20 minutes.
  9. For the milk pudding of the bride's dessert, add 1 liter milk, 1 cup powdered sugar, 3 heaped tablespoons flour and 2 and a half tablespoons starch into a deep pot, and whisk well. Place it on the stove and cook, stirring constantly, until it reaches a thick consistency. After the milk pudding is cooked, remove it from the stove and leave it to cool down.
  10. After the milk pudding has cooled, add 1 packet whipped cream powder into it, and whisk well with a mixer.
  11. Pour the milk pudding you prepared warm over the cake that you left to rest after pouring milk on it, and spread it nicely.
  12. Leave the bride dessert to rest in the refrigerator for 1 night. Then, decorate the top with coconut.
  13. You can serve the princess bride dessert cold, with its soft cake, milk pudding at the perfect consistency, and its pure white appearance.
