Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons (heaping) flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 liter milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 packet vanilla
- 1 piece egg yolk
- 20 pieces ladyfinger biscuit
- 1,5 cups filter coffee
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
Preparation
- Roast the flour 2 minutes over low heat until it smells fragrant, add its sugar and roast 1-2 minutes further in this manner. Then, to prevent clumping, add the milk little by little, continuing to stir during this time.
- After adding all the milk, wait for the milk to boil slightly while stirring. If bubbles start to appear while stirring, it means it has boiled. After it boils, lower the heat, 3-4 minutes continue cooking while stirring constantly. When you see it has lightly thickened, add the egg yolk, mix quickly, and then remove from the heat.
- After taking it off the stove, add vanillin and butter and mix. Continue to cool by stirring so that a skin does not form on top while cooling.
- Meanwhile, arrange the biscuits in the baking dish by soaking them in coffee. If the biscuit absorbs too much coffee, it may spread in the baking dish, be careful not to let this happen.
- Add enough of the cooled milk pudding that has reached room temperature to cover the biscuits in the first layer. Then, smooth the top with a spatula.
- Then, for the second layer, arrange the biscuits by dipping them in coffee in the same way.
- Gently spread the remaining milk pudding over the last layer, smooth it again with a spatula, and leave it to rest in the refrigerator overnight.
- After taking it out of the refrigerator, sprinkle cocoa on top and serve,!
