Are Coconut Balls Easy to Make? This recipe, which is in dozens of people’s cookbooks, and...
Ingredients
- 100 ml cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon crushed hazelnuts
- A little more than 1 water glass of coconut (add carefully; once the mixture comes together, don’t add any more—it may stick slightly to your hands; use the coconut to coat the hazelnuts before adding them to the mixture)
Preparation
- Mix the cream, hazelnuts, and sugar together a little with your hands, then add the coconut—it’s okay if the mixture sticks to your hands a bit.
- Shape it into a dough, then make a hole in the center with your finger, just like you would when making stuffed meatballs.
- Place a hazelnut inside and close it up—it might be a little tricky to seal, but it will firm up in the fridge, so don’t worry; just make them all.
- Roll them in shredded coconut and let them sit in the fridge for 1 hour. They’re ready to serve—good luck!
