Semolina Dessert (Very Easy)
Semolina Dessert (Very Easy)? This recipe, which is in dozens of people’s cookbooks, and...
Ingredients
- 1 package of margarine
- 1 glass of vegetable oil
- 1 package of baking powder
- 1 package of vanilla
- 2 eggs
- Flour as needed
- Semolina
- 4 glasses of water
- 3 glasses of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
Preparation
- First, put the water and sugar in a pot and bring to a boil. After 20 minutes, add the lemon juice, boil for another 5 minutes, and let it cool.
- Melt the margarine and let it cool, then add the other ingredients and knead into a soft dough.
- Take walnut-sized pieces of dough and roll them into balls.
- Coat them in semolina and arrange them on a baking sheet.
- Score the tops with a knife to shape them.
- Bake at 180 degrees until lightly browned; once they’ve cooled slightly, pour the cold syrup over them.
- You can place coconut or peanut butter in the center of each one. You can serve them after 15 minutes. I didn’t pour the syrup over them because I’m going to put them in the freezer.
