Roasted Flour Cookies? This recipe in dozens of people's notebooks and.
Ingredients
- 125 g soft butter
- 2,5 cups roasted flour
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- half cup starch
- 1 piece egg
- 1 tea glass vegetable oil
- 1 level teaspoon baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla
- As much flour as it takes
- Peanut
- Hazelnut
Preparation
- First, put 2,5 cups flour into a teflon pot and roast it by stirring constantly until its color changes without burning.
- Sift the flour that has taken a yellowish color into a tray and leave it to cool. Be sure to sift it, otherwise the dough will not come together while shaping and will crumble.
- Mix all ingredients except flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
- Knead by adding baking powder and flour.
- Stop adding flour the moment the dough stops sticking to your hands, it will be a dough with the softness of an earlobe.
- First, all of the roasted and cooled flour is added to the dough, then flour is added little by little as much as it takes.
- Tear off pieces from the dough slightly larger than a walnut and roll them. Using a dessert spoon, rotate the dough in your hand and make cuts on the edges.
- Press one piece hazelnut into the center of each. I did half this way, and for the other half, I rolled them and shaped them by pressing with a sieve in the middle.
- As for what I did with the strainer, I dipped them in peanuts; if you don't want to, you can leave the centers empty, but if you have them, I definitely recommend using them because after cooking, they have a very nice roasted hazelnut/peanut taste.
- Both of them turned out very beautiful in shape after cooking. Arrange them on a tray with parchment paper or directly on a tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until the bottoms turn pink.
- Leave the baked cookies to cool on the tray. You can squeeze peanut butter or breakfast chocolate into the middle of the cooled cookies, it would be more delicious. I left it plain this time, it was still very beautiful.
- You can preserve it for weeks in a closed container, it does not get stale for a long time. Bon appétit and health to those who will try it
