Lavender Flavored Creme Caramel
Lavender flavored crème caramel comes at the top of those who must try, for those who want a different and exquisite flavor.
Ingredients
- 125 g sugar
- 3 pieces egg
- 2 pieces egg yolk
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon dried lavender
- 500 ml milk
Preparation
- Put 125 g sugar into a saucepot and stir with a wooden spoon until it melts and turns caramel color. Without waiting, pour it to coat the bottom of the crème caramel containers.
- Set the oven to 140 degrees.
- Bring the milk, vanilla extract, and lavender to a boil in a saucepan, let 5 minutes sit on the side.
- Meanwhile, whisk the egg, egg yolks, and 100 g sugar in a bowl.
- Pour the milky mixture into the egg little by little and whisk. (If you pour quickly, the eggs will cook.)
- Strain the mixture. Distribute evenly into containers, leaving a small space at the top.
- Prepare a baking dish with a depth and width that will accommodate the bowls. Place the bowls.
- Fill the inside of the baking dish with boiling water so that it will be a little more than half of the containers.
- Bake at 140 degrees 25-30 minutes. Baking time may vary from oven to oven; it is done if the edges are set and the center wobbles. Remove from the oven, cool.
