Forest Fruit Trileçe? The Forest Fruit Trileçe Recipe and...
Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 1 water glass minus 1 finger of granulated sugar
- 1.5 cups flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla
- 1 teacup warm water
- 1 packet cream
- 5 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 3.5 cups milk
- 1 packet whipped cream
- 2 packets forest fruit sauce
Preparation
- First, we’ll prepare the cake.
- To do this, beat the whites of 5 eggs with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.
- Next, in a separate bowl, beat the egg whites and sugar until the mixture reaches a porridge-like consistency.
- Add 1 teacup of warm water, 1.5 cups of flour, baking powder, and vanilla.
- After mixing well, fold in the egg whites we beat earlier.
- Next, use a wooden spoon and a spatula.
- Gently fold the egg whites into the mixture in the same direction, being careful not to deflate them.
- Make sure the two mixtures are thoroughly combined.
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper and pour in the batter.
- Bake the mixture—which will be slightly thicker than a regular cake batter—in a preheated 170-degree oven.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the milk sauce. To do this, thoroughly whisk together 3.5 glasses of milk, cream, and sugar, then refrigerate.
- Once the cake is done baking and has cooled slightly, we flip it over and remove the parchment paper.
- We place the cake back on the baking sheet.
- We poke holes in the top with a toothpick and pour the sauce over it.
- For the topping, cook 2 packages of forest fruit sauce with 1.5 cups of water and let it cool.
- Meanwhile, whip 1 package of whipped cream with 1 cup of milk and spread it over the cake.
- Then pour the cooled sauce over the top.
- Set aside about 2 tablespoons of the whipped cream to decorate the top. NOTE: I’d tried making this cake before with a different recipe, and the result was a disaster, but this recipe turned out just right in every way. Enjoy!
