A milk dessert recipe that is quite appetizing with its color, light, easy and very delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 liter milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 heaped tablespoons flour
- 2 heaped tablespoons starch
- 1 piece egg yolk
- 1 piece medium size orange zest
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 packet vanilla
- 1 packet liquid cream (200 ml)
- 1 packet petibör biscuit
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 cup water
- 1 and a half tablespoons corn starch
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Preparation
- For making orange magnolia; pour 1 liter milk into a deep pot. Add 1 cup granulated sugar on top.
- Then add 3 heaped tablespoons flour, 2 heaped tablespoons starch and 1 piece egg yolk.
- Mix the ingredients well using a whisk. The cup measurement I used in the recipe is 200 ml.
- Then, place the pot on the stove. Cook the milk pudding by stirring constantly until it boils.
- Then, place 1 tablespoon butter, 1 packet vanilla and 1 piece medium-sized orange zest on top of the cooked milk pudding.
- Mix all ingredients well, and remove from the stove. Then, leave it to cool on the side. Stir the milk pudding occasionally so that a crust does not form on top.
- On the other hand, put 1 packet petibör biscuits or oat biscuits into a food processor.
- Pass the biscuits thoroughly through the robot.
- Then, pour 1 packet liquid cream over the cooled milk pudding.
- Whisk the milk pudding and whipped cream with a mixer until they reach a smooth consistency, beating 3-4 minutes well.
- First, put 1 and a half tablespoons of the biscuits you have passed through the food processor into the cups you will make your dessert in.
- Then pour 1 ladle of milk pudding over the biscuit.
- Add biscuits on top of the milk pudding again, and spread them lightly.
- Finally, put the milk pudding into the cups and spread it nicely.
- For the orange sauce; pour half cup orange juice and 1 cup water into a small pot. Add 4 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1 and a half tablespoons corn starch and half teaspoon turmeric for color, and mix well. Cook until the sauce reaches a slightly thick consistency. After cooking, remove from the stove and allow some of the heat to dissipate by stirring occasionally.
- Finally, distribute the orange sauce over the milk pudding in the cups.
- To allow the orange magnolia dessert you prepared to reach the right consistency, let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours. Then, you can serve it by decorating the top as you wish.
