My Saffron Cake

My Saffron Cake? The recipe for my saffron cake and...

Ingredients
  • 2 packages of chocolate pudding (prepare according to the instructions on the package)
  • 2–3 packages of Petibor cookies
  • 1 glass of milk
  • 1 single-serving packet of salep
  • 1 package of chocolate sauce (prepare according to the instructions on the package)
  • Shredded coconut
  • Cherries
Preparation
  1. Cook the pudding and chocolate sauce, then set them aside to cool. (Just stir occasionally to prevent a skin from forming.)
  2. Now let’s prepare the salep. We’ll make it with a glass of cold milk (I used salep I had at home, but you can use Nescafé, instant coffee, or any other type of coffee).
  3. Dip the cookies in the salep and arrange them in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the pudding over them.
  5. Then another layer of cookies (dipped in the salep), followed by pudding, then another layer of cookies (dip all the cookies in the salep).
  6. Next, add a layer of pudding and place bananas in between.
  7. So, after the third layer of cookies, arrange bananas on every subsequent layer. Continue this way until you’ve used up all the ingredients.
  8. Finally, pour the chocolate sauce over the top and let it chill in the refrigerator for about 2–3 hours.
  9. And the decoration is up to you—pistachio powder, walnuts, hazelnuts, strawberries—whatever ingredients you have at home. Enjoy!
