The Easiest and Tastiest Banana Pyramid Cake

The Easiest and Most Delicious Banana Pyramid Cake? This recipe, which is in thousands of people’s cookbooks, and...

Ingredients
  • 1 package of chocolate pudding mix
  • Milk (according to the package instructions) (the milk measurement for the pudding mix I used is 3.5 su bardağı)
  • 1 package of dark chocolate (you can also use milk chocolate)
  • 2 small packages of Petibör cookies
  • 2 bananas
  • A small amount of milk (1–2 tablespoons) to adjust the consistency
Preparation
  1. First of all, I’d like to mention that I added chocolate because I think the pudding tastes much better with it—and also because we love chocolate—but if you prefer, you can make it plain without adding chocolate (Still, I recommend trying it this way.)
  2. Pour the milk and powdered pudding mix into a suitable pot according to the package instructions, place it on the stove, and cook according to the recipe on the package.
  3. Remove the cooked pudding from the heat, break the chocolate into pieces and add it to the pudding, then stir until the chocolate is completely melted. Meanwhile, line a suitable baking dish with plastic wrap and arrange the cookies in three rows side by side.
  4. Pour a few spoonfuls of pudding over them and spread it evenly, then arrange another layer of cookies and repeat the process by pouring and spreading the pudding.
  5. Arrange the third row of cookies, pour the pudding over them and spread it out, then arrange the bananas in the center of the dessert. Fold the long edges of the dessert upward along with the plastic wrap, join them to form a triangle, and wrap tightly so it doesn’t come undone (you can see these steps in the photos).
  6. Let it chill in the refrigerator for a few hours (I prepared it the night before and served it the next day). Set aside some of the pudding for the topping—I didn’t measure it, but I had more than half a water glass left over, which is plenty anyway.
  7. While the remaining pudding is still warm, add half a package of chocolate and a very small amount of milk—just enough to thin the consistency slightly—and mix until smooth.
  8. Take the dessert out of the fridge after letting it chill for at least 4–5 hours, remove the plastic wrap, transfer it to a serving plate, pour the reserved pudding over the top to cover it, decorate as desired, chill in the fridge a bit longer, then slice and serve. I’ve gone on at length, but it’s incredibly easy to make—it just requires a bit of chilling time in the fridge. To those who’ll try it, I’d like to say in advance
