A quick and easy dessert recipe you can make with butternut squash.
Ingredients
800 grams of peeled zucchini
2.5 cups of granulated sugar
1 package of whipped cream mix
1 teacup of water
Chopped walnuts
Preparation
Dice 800 grams of squash into small cubes. Wash them thoroughly and place them in a deep pot. Add 2.5 cups of granulated sugar and 1 teacup of water. Cover the pot and place it on the stove. Cook over medium heat until the zucchini is tender (about 1 hour). It doesn’t need to reduce completely—just until tender.
Check occasionally to make sure the zucchini doesn’t boil over while cooking.
Once the zucchini is completely tender, remove from the heat. Blend them thoroughly until smooth, then set aside to cool.
Meanwhile, place 1 package of whipped cream in a bowl. Add 1 tea glass of milk and whip until thick. Then set aside in the refrigerator to chill.
Divide the prepared pumpkin puree among serving cups. Top each with whipped cream and garnish with walnuts. You can serve this sweet pumpkin puree with whipped cream chilled.
