A recipe for a very different single-serving cake, perfectly consistent and fluffy.
Ingredients
- 1 tea glass warm milk
- 1 tea glass lukewarm water
- 75 g butter
- 2 tablespoons yogurt
- 2 pieces egg
- 9 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 5 cups flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons wheat starch
- 1 packet vanilla
- Powdered sugar
- 1 piece banana
Preparation
- For the cream of the individual German cake; put 2 cups milk into a medium-sized deep pot. Crack 1 piece eggs on top of it.
- Then add 2 tablespoons starch, 2 tablespoons flour and 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, and whisk well.
- Place the pot on the stove, and cook by stirring constantly until the cream reaches a thick consistency.
- Take the cooked cream off the heat and let it cool. Your cream will take on a thick consistency after it cools. For this, whisk it for a short time with a mixer. Depending on your preference, you can add 3-4 tablespoons cream to your cream.
- On the other hand, put 2 cups flour, 9 tablespoons powdered sugar and 1 packet dry yeast into a deep bowl and mix. Then add 1 tea glass warm water and 1 tea glass warm milk. Crack 2 pieces egg. Add melted 75 g butter and 2 tablespoons yogurt. Mix all the ingredients with your hand.
- Then, gradually add the remaining 3 cups flour to the mixture and knead until you obtain a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. Cover the dough you prepared and leave it to ferment in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Then, take tangerine-sized pieces from your fermented dough and roll them. Arrange them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Press down lightly on them.
- Place in a preheated 170 degrees oven.
- Cook until the tops turn slightly pink. Cook for approximately 20-25 minutes.
- Take the baked individual German cakes out of the oven, cover them with a clean cloth, and let them cool. Then, cut each cake in half using a knife.
- Fill the cut inner parts of the cakes with cream. Add 1-2 pieces banana slices.
- You can pour powdered sugar or chocolate sauce over the individual portions of German cake you have prepared and serve them.
