Flour Halva with Milk Syrup
This recipe is for those looking for a very practical, delicious, and low-sugar halva. Milk syrup flour halva is much lighter in this form.
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup walnut kernels (coarsely broken)
- 1 packet pine nuts
- 2 large cup milk
- 6 tablespoons sugar
Preparation
- First, butter is added and stirred once or twice. Then, olive oil is added. (Those who do not like olive oil can add vegetable oil.)
- Add the flour and roast for approximately 15 minutes.
- Milk and sugar are mixed together in one place and the sugar is melted.
- Milk is added little by little with the help of a ladle to the roasted flour. (Splashes occur a lot at this stage, so you need to be careful.)
- Press with the back of the spoon to ensure the syrup is thoroughly absorbed.
- After the bottom is closed, it is kept 10-15 minutes with its mouth closed to rest.
