Easy Milk-Based Tiramisu? The Easy Milk-Based Tiramisu Recipe that’s in dozens of people’s cookbooks, and...
Ingredients
- 7 glasses of milk
- 5 tablespoons of flour
- 8 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 packages of mascarpone or labne cheese
- 1 package of ladyfinger cookies
- 3 teaspoons of Nescafé
- 1.5 glasses of hot water
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa
Preparation
- First, put the coffee and sugar in a bowl, pour hot water over them, and stir. Once the coffee has dissolved, set it aside to cool.
- In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, flour, and the egg into a saucepan, and whisk thoroughly with a whisk. Place it on the stove and cook while stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Once it reaches a pudding-like consistency, remove it from the heat, add the cheese, and continue whisking until the cheese melts and blends in .
- Place the cat’s tongue cookies in a large rectangular baking dish. Lightly dip both sides of each cookie into the cooled coffee—without soaking them too much—and arrange them in the dish, leaving a half-centimeter gap between each one.
- Once you’ve finished arranging them, pour half of the custard over them and smooth it out with a spoon.
- Arrange another layer of cat’s tongue cookies on top, then pour the remaining custard over them and smooth it out.
- Place the tray, uncovered, in the refrigerator. Once cooled, cover it with plastic wrap and return it to the refrigerator. When ready to serve, remove it, sprinkle cocoa over the top using a tea strainer, and serve.
