Butter-Filled Mole Cake? This recipe and...
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1.5 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teacup of butter
- 1 teacup of milk
- 2.5 cups flour
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla
- 2 heaping tablespoons wheat starch
- 2 heaping tablespoons flour
- 1 packet powdered whipped cream
- 3 bananas
Preparation
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar with a mixer. Add the Teremyağ, milk, cocoa, and vanilla, then mix in the flour and baking powder.
- Pour the cake batter into a round baking pan greased with butter and bake in a preheated 175-degree oven for 40 minutes.
- To prepare the cream, combine the milk, wheat starch, flour, granulated sugar, and whipped cream powder in a saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
- Remove the baked cake from the oven, let it cool slightly, then remove it from the pan. Using a spoon, carefully scoop out the center of the cake—leaving a few sections along the edges intact and taking care not to damage the bottom—and set it aside for later use.
- Slice the bananas and place them in the hollowed-out center of the cake.
- Starting from the center, spread the previously prepared, cooled cream over the entire surface of the cake so that it is completely covered.
- The top of the cake will have a puffed-up appearance; remove the center section and cover it with the crumbled cake pieces. Let it chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
