Cotton-like Cake Without Yogurt or Milk? This recipe in thousands of people's notebooks and.
Ingredients
5 pieces small egg (or 4 large egg)
1.5 cups granulated sugar
1 tea glass vegetable oil
half tea glass hot water
1 cup wheat starch
1 cup flour
1 packet baking powder
1 packet vanilla
1 tablespoon cocoa
1 tablespoon cold water
Preparation
First, the yolks and whites of the eggs at room temperature are separated into different bowls.
To the whites, 1 cup powdered sugar is added little by little and whisked until it becomes snow white and thickens, approximately 5 minutes.
Sugar is added to the remaining half glass yolks and whisked, then hot water is added and whisked again until the 5 minutes color lightens. Flour, starch, vegetable oil, baking powder and vanilla are added and mixed well.
The white is added to the mixture 3-4 times and gently folded in by stirring from bottom to top with a spatula.
A small amount, less than half cup, is set aside from the cake batter. Cocoa and water are added to it and mixed.
Plain dough is poured into the mold. Cocoa dough is drizzled over it. It is tapped on the surface a few times to ensure the air escapes.
170 degrees is baked in the oven without ever opening the lid 35-40 minutes.
